1. Private service disclosure

USTravelAlert.com is an independent STEP travel readiness and intake assistance service. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by the U.S. Department of State, Transportation Security Administration, Department of Homeland Security, Customs and Border Protection, or any other government agency. The Smart Traveler Enrollment Program, also called STEP, is a free U.S. government service available directly through official State Department channels.

2. Service description

The website collects basic traveler contact information, travel destinations, and travel dates so that a private STEP assistance request can be reviewed. The service does not issue passports, visas, government approvals, emergency services, immigration advice, legal advice, or official government travel alerts. Using this website does not replace reviewing official travel advisories or completing any required official STEP enrollment steps directly with the government.

3. User responsibilities

You are responsible for providing complete and accurate information, monitoring official travel resources, meeting entry and exit requirements, obtaining required travel documents, and taking appropriate safety precautions. We may be unable to process requests containing inaccurate, incomplete, or fraudulent information.

4. Payment terms

A one-time private assistance service fee of $20 is charged through secure embedded checkout. Payment must be completed before your submission is marked for review. The official STEP program is free through the U.S. Department of State; this fee is for USTravelAlert.com intake handling and follow-up preparation only.

5. Refunds

Because the fee covers intake handling and review preparation, payments are generally non-refundable once a submission is reviewed. Refund requests may be considered case by case by contacting the site operator. Add your production refund address or support email before launch.

6. No guarantees

We do not guarantee STEP acceptance, travel safety, government approval, admission to any country, visa issuance, itinerary success, or prevention of delays, cancellations, emergencies, or losses.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the website, submit malicious content, attempt to access systems without permission, interfere with checkout processing, impersonate others, or submit information you are not authorized to provide.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, USTravelAlert.com and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, punitive, or travel-related losses arising from use of the website or service.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the website after updates means you accept the revised terms.
